Looking to have a website done that is a bit like craigs list, but with some other features.
Features Include:
1. The ability to create an account
2. The ability to search for stuff in different categories
3. The ability to post items, services, etc on the website
4. Admin Control to add new categories, etc
5. Ability to use email aliases for posting items
The important feature of the site will to have the ability to create a “Match Agent” where you can setup in your account a search tool. This search tool will allow you to pick and choose what you are looking for and save it. It will then notify you when any matches are made.
Example:
I create a “Match Agent” that says I am looking for a “Sony Play Station” in the “Chicago” area.
Someone posts an ad they have a “Sony Play Station” and they are located in “Chicago” and I would receive a notification of this posting.
The user posting the ad would also get a notification that someone is looking for a “Sony Play Station” and have the ability to contact them to let them know they are selling something they are looking for.
The “Match Agent” should work for any part of the website and for any category that someone posts for.
Example:
I create a “Match Agent” that says I am looking for a Job in Chicago as a “Network Engineer” and it would search the website for all the Jobs in Chicago that relate to a “Network Engineer” and show me the results or email me. |
