Online report card system for K – 8 school
Want to keep this as simple and basic as possible.
• Access based (need to be able to edit offline as well as online)
• Can be either a Front Page system or some other asp or php system
• I will provide the database, form, and report as required
• Script needs to be able to accommodate any combination of database, form and report (i.e. we need to easily change these or provide different sets)
• Users need password to be able to enter the system. Users have password and then must enter a password unique to that database. These must be easily edited.
• Users prompted for which quarter to use.
• Users can enter new records, delete and edit records
• Database must take into account multiple quarters for each student.
• Users get list of entries by student id, and name with options to edit, delete, view (in report format), create Word document with report (or suggest some other option), and email report in Word or some parent based on email in database. Quarter option is provided
• Users can send multiple emails using check boxes or “all” checkbox
• Parents can use name and password in database to view report online by any quarter
