We are a very fast growing website development company. 70 new clients in less than a year in our first year and still growing at a very fast rate. We also have very strong traffic to our site. But we only offer custom web design at the moment and with the US economy struggling and customers always demanded more control, we feel automated website builders will sell (IF THEY ARE WELL BUILT, EASY TO USE and NICE LOOKING). Our specs are below:
1. Have a resell account with GoDaddy
I would like them through the initial website building process to give them to option to buy a domain through this interface (the store has settings so the domain starts on our server by default).
2. We would supply the templates designs already done by our artist
3. We would supply the look of the admin area interface if needed. We want to make sure it looks CLEAN, NICE and EASY TO USE
4. User would have option to input logo
5. User would have option to enter company name. This is vital, most people who have interfaces that try to add that make it look terrible. I want good looking fonts and can we use xml or something so a stylish font can overlay on its own layer?
6. They would have choice of standard pages like home, about us, contact, FAQ, calendar, but the ability to add custom pages where they could make their own name of the page and it would add to navigation
7. Contact page would be nice if they could enter location and it could generate something like a google map for them
8. Calendar page should have an easy to use events calendar and updater
9. This set up should accommodate all sites on the same server and be set up so that if we make an update to the admin area or add a new feature they can use, it updates for all users and clients.
Two key points on other website builders are they never seem to pull of easy ways to insert images to content areas and make them look good or overlay text like company name and look good over template. I would like to change that with our product. |
