Request For Qualifications -
Seeking 3 or 4 companies with direct experience in the creation of on-line communities and business directories.
Successful candidate companies will be paid to bid on a complex system development.
Please provide:

© A very brief summary of how you would propose to develop the system outlined below. What packages, tools and methods would you employ?
© Your qualifications and experience in Web 2.0 and or on-line communities.
IMPORTANT: This project is to propose a detailed solution not to develop the system. Successful Candidates will be given full system requirements and paid to provide a detailed proposal.
System Description
The system will be a business directory and web community. Business people and consumers will form a word of mouth community of recommendations, reviews, knowledge base and connections between users. The system will employ web 2.0 style features as seen in Facebook, Linked-in, and other Web 2.0 sites. The system will help businesses find the exposure they need. The system will help consumers make better, easier decisions when searching for products and services.

The Project will also include
© Migration of the existing database to the new system
With successful completion, there will be significant follow-on work.
The successful candidates will be paid to generate detailed proposals for the development of this system.
The detailed proposal is the work product. Selected companies will be paid between $300-$500 dollars to offset the cost of a detailed and thoughtful proposal.

© A description of your development process
© Description of software packages used (phpfox, phpList etc.)

© Software delivery methods
© Project stages
© Milestones and dates
© Quality control
© Testing
© Team members and their qualifications / Resumes
© Proposed schedule
© Costs and payment details
© Terms and conditions
Deadlines.
© August 22 proposal Candidates will be selected.
© August 29 proposals will be completed.
© September 3 Project Awarded – Development Begins
© October 27 Alpha Testing Begins
© November 3 Live beta testing begins.
This will be an intensive 2 month development for several engineers and graphics pros. Please do not respond unless you have a team AVAILABLE TO DEDICATE TO THIS PROJECT.
